1. The application process

• Online magnet applications are now open. Please click HERE to register for all magnet/academy programs (Elementary, Middle, and High).
• The online applications will close at 5:00 p.m., February 16, 2024.
• Academy/Magnet programs and students are required to have all magnet entrance exams and/or auditions complete on February 23, 2024.
• Each parent and/or student will receive an email regarding his or her application status on March 8, 2024, after 5:00 p.m.
• Decisions will include a status of acceptance, waitlist, or denial.

Muscogee County School District’s Graduation Rate Achieves Highest Rate and Continues to Surpass the State Rate

Columbus, GA- According to a recent release from the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE), the Muscogee County School District (MCSD) has surpassed the state graduation rate for the eleventh consecutive year. The District graduation rate has increased to 93.51 percent, an increase of 1.47 percentage points, year-over-year, from 92.04 percent in 2022. This marks the highest graduation rate for the District since the four-year cohort rate has been calculated.

This competition is an exciting opportunity for students of all ages to explore 21st century skills and showcase their abilities. Students may participate in one of 15 different categories across five grade bands: 3rd & 4th 5th & 6th 7th & 8th 9th & 10th 11th & 12th All first-place winners are automatically entered into the 2024 Georgia Student Technology Competition. This competition will be held on March 2, 2024, at a location that will be announced at a later date.
